Summary: The U.S. Mission in Cambodia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk for the Regional Security Office (RSO), Department of State.

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Supervisory Position: No

Duties: Incumbent performs general administrative duties, including clerical tasks, for the Local Guard Program office; also receives telephone calls for the office and serves as the first point of contact for visitors to the office. Assists with creation of scheduling matrix, time and attendance data entry, and supply accountability.

Qualifications and Evaluations

EDUCATION: Completion of high school is required.


EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in an office setting performing receptionist, clerk or secretarial duties is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Detailed familiarity with standard office procedures, and Cambodian and American social customs is required.


LANGUAGE: Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required. Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing of Khmer is required. (This will be tested.)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have personal computer skills with demonstrated experience with software packages including Outlook and Microsoft Office. Must have ability to use telephone system.

Qualifications: All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
