Please be advised that there will be a May Day labor rally planned for tomorrow Sunday, May 1^st from 06:30 am to 12:30 pm in Phnom Penh.  Hundreds of participants are expected to gather at the Cambodian Council for Development located on the corner of Preah Sisowath Quay and Street 94, just east of Wat Phnom and the U.S. Embassy compound.  Additional smaller gatherings are expected in Chbar Ampov, southeast of Phnom Penh, as well as in several provincial locales including Poipet, Battambang, and Sihanoukville. These gatherings are expected to be non-violent, however American citizens are advised to avoid these areas, and adjust your plans and routes accordingly during this time period.
