AOTM Program Named a CES 2016 Innovation Awards Honoree

January 5, 2016

Cambodian engineers are part of a special team from Golden West Humanitarian Foundation (GWHF) that created the Advanced Ordnance Training Materials (AOTM) Program, which has been named as an Innovation Awards Honoree at the prestigious International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas – better known as CES 2016. Selected in the “Tech For A Better World” category, AOTM products are manufactured in Phnom Penh in GWHF’s Design Lab, Cambodia’s largest 3D-printing facility.

With start-up funding from the U.S. Department of State, the AOTM program improves the quality of materials available to humanitarian mine clearance and unexploded ordnance disposal personnel in Cambodia and around the world. “Winning this major international award is an honor we share with the people of Cambodia and recognizes the global impact Cambodian-created products can have,” noted Allen Tan, Director of Applied Technology at GWHF.
