Mrs. Sotie Heidt, wife of U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia William Heidt, made a special visit to Cambodian Children’s Fund to speak with students about “The Meaning of Success”.
Mrs. Heidt recounted her experiences growing up in the U.S. as a Cambodian American and urged the young men and women to pursue higher education.
“Success is self-defined. I define success both in terms of my professional life and my personal life and whether I feel like I am where I want to be. Success is about happiness and having peace in your heart, and not about chasing after money. When I speak to student groups, I encourage them to dream big and be the best that they can be in their field.”
