Three-time U.S. Olympian Tracy Evans Land met with aspiring Cambodian athletes and coaches at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee Of Cambodia on October 27. Tracy spoke about her experience competing in the 1994, 1998, and 2002 Winter Olympic Games as a member of the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team . Tracy also discussed the three Olympic Values—excellence, friendship, and respect—and the importance of sport in promoting gender empowerment and equity.
In 2008, Tracy founded Kids Play International, a non-profit organization with a mission of using sport and the Olympic Values to promote gender equity in communities impacted by genocide.
